The Gael Force Story
Gael Force Sevens was created to give Irish rugby players something different.
An independent, ambitious sevens programme capable of bringing experienced internationals, Olympians and emerging players together under one identity and giving them opportunities to compete at leading tournaments at home and abroad.
But Gael Force was never intended to be simply a team that arrives, plays rugby and leaves.
We want to build something people are proud to represent.
That means competing hard. Looking after our players. Respecting tournament organisers, volunteers and opposition. Supporting the communities that welcome us. Giving younger players access to people who have competed at the highest level.
And enjoying the journey along the way.
That is Gael Force.
Irish. Independent. Ambitious.

OUR STANDARD
Leave It Better
Every place. Every person. Every performance.
These words define how Gael Force operates.
Whether we are competing in Ireland or overseas, running a coaching session, meeting supporters or representing our partners, we want Gael Force to have a positive impact.
Performance matters.
How we achieve it matters too.
Development
THE NEXT GENERATION
Gael Force is about both the players competing today and those coming next.
Our development programme gives emerging players the opportunity to experience sevens in a high-performance environment and learn alongside players and coaches with international and Olympic experience.
Through training camps, coaching, mentorship and tournament opportunities, our ambition is to create meaningful pathways for players who want to develop their game through sevens.
Learn from experience. Earn your opportunity.

GIVEBACK
Leave Somewhere Better Than We Found It
Giveback is part of Gael Force.
When we travel, we look for opportunities to connect with the rugby communities hosting us — particularly young players.
Our players and coaches have delivered sessions with local clubs and young athletes around our tournaments, sharing their experience and giving young players access to people who have represented Ireland and competed on the international stage.
It isn’t something separate from Gael Force.
It is part of what representing Gael Force means.
